Skyrunning World Championships

For 2018 the US is fielding a team for the first time to compete at the International Skyrunning World Championships in Kinlochleven, Scotland, and I've made the cut! Yeehaw! It's an absolute honor to have the opportunity to represent my country at such an event (and certainly something I'd never thought I'd do!), but the support for getting there and other travel costs is extremely limited.
I've been training and racing in the CO mountains for several years now, and events like the Ben Nevis Ultra have really played to my strengths. In 2016 I finished 5th at the Tromsø Hemperokken Skyrace, and more recently I won the Power of Four 50k, and with the help of my coach, David Roche, I'm very optimistic about my prospects in Scotland.
For some more details of the US Team, here's an article from the American Trail Running Association.
Between flights from Denver as well as lodging, food, and event-related costs, this trip has become pretty pricey! Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Thanks, all!
p.s. Here's a cool video of the race !
