Robert “Craig” Warren was born December 4th, 1954. He was one of three children. His brother Jimmie Warren who has gone before him. His only living sibling is his brother Scott Warren. Craig brought two wonderful children into this world, first Shane Warren, second Michelle “Warren” Dierks, and raised Patrick Borsheim as his own. Craig was blessed to be a Grandfather to three Grandkids, Cody Warren 18, Sadie Warren 17, and Emily Warren 7. With the two eldest Grandkids living in Colorado, Craig would make time to travel to spend time with his family, and would have the two eldest come each summer for a few weeks to spend quality time with them. He loved to see his Grandkids smile. Emily, his youngest Grandchild was the light of his eye. He spent a lot of time with Emily, playing with dolls, games, teaching her life, and funny enough growing the green grass for her to enjoy in his back yard. Craig was an avid motorcycle (Harley Davidson) enthusiast. He loved to ride, work on, and build Harley Davison’s. Craig loved his family and friends. He would give the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket.
Our dad unexpectedly passed away this past Friday June 29th.
The previous Saturday, Dad and Doreen celebrated their relationship with joining in Holy Matrimony. Following the celebration Craig’s blood pressure dropped and he passed out. He was rushed to the Hospital, where it was determined he needed to meet with a Cardiologist. The appointment was made for Friday June 29th at 2:30 pm. On Friday morning when Craig awoke, he didn’t feel like himself. He tried to overcome the feelings and assured all of us he would be seeing the Doctor that afternoon. Mid-morning Craig felt like he had a heart attack, so he was rushed to the hospital again. When he arrived they begin performing tests and determined he had a tear in his aorta. The Doctor’s were trying to prepare him for emergency surgery when his heart stopped. They attempted many times to revive him without success. At 12:42pm the Doctor’s declared that Craig had gone home to be with the Lord.
We write this with the greatest pain and sorrow we have ever felt. Yet, as our Dad taught us, we have to keep going and push through. As such, we create this GoFundMe account with the hope we can raise funds to help our family and his wife Doreen cover the funeral expenses, cremation, etc. Any amount would mean the world to our family. Thank you for your donation and please keep our family in your prayers.
