Peter's story - My small businesses affected by coronavirus #SmallBusinessRelief
On December 5, 2019 I became a U.S. citizen after a very long 14 year waiting period. I was raised in Canada as the children of immigrants from Hungary and surprisingly am now reliving the experience as a new immigrant to the USA. I was educated at several of Canada's best post-secondary institutions and now am pursuing a dream job as an Options Trader in the USA. I work from my home office at 1936 South Sunny Ridge Rd, Dayton, OH as pictured.
RNK Trading Ventures LLC is a business that engages in Options Trading exclusively for myself. As a new immigrant to the USA I soon discovered that there are unseen challenges to succeeding in the "melting pot" of the USA and soon found myself facing discrimination for my faith in Yeshua - the Hebrew way to say "Jesus." The work place no longer felt like a place I was welcome.
I reached out to the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (https://www.eeoc.gov/) and they said it was childish discrimination what I experienced, but they could do nothing. I reached out to the American Center for Law and Justice and they said it is discrimination but they don't take personal civil tort cases. With not enough resources to pursue the matter I was left alone.
My survival response was to take my lifesavings and invest it in my business and work from my home office. This afforded me the freedom to succeed in a new career as well as the hope of the American Dream of financial success and general prosperity.
The biggest challenge I face at present after having learned the ropes of Options Trading is raising capital. People hear "options trader" or "investment business" and think I'm a multi-billionaire Warren Buffett when the truth is I'm doing this to survive and try and prosper because I have not been given any other option, no pun intended.
After an amazing start to 2020, I got hit hard with the Coronavirus COVID-19 that erased all my profits for 2020. I love the freedom this business offers me and for the first time in my life I get up in the morning loving what I do and looking forward to the work day ahead as they say, "do what you love and you never work a day!" The stress is high, but exciting.
What is the purpose of this GoFundMe?
I lost money on Options Trading as soon as the stock market crashed because of fears about the Coronavirus COVID-19. My total losses that can not be recovered are estimated at $1700 USD.
This GoFundMe will enable me to put back into my business money that I lost because of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
I estimate this GoFundMe will help me to increase my profits contingent on the general improvement to the U.S. and Global Economy.
