My name is Livv, and this is incredibly hard for me to do; ask for help. However, I am raising funds to cover my rent/bills/expenses while I travel out of state to provide end-of-life care for my Uncle Don. I will be gone for an undetermined amount of time and will be without work. My uncle and I have always been extremely close. As his next of kin (and the only able-bodied family member) I will be driving down to Louisiana and staying for at least a month, most likely more, to manage his comfort and estate during the final stages of his lung cancer. I'm just 25 years old and the only one to help him prepare for death, as well as pack up all of his belongings, communicate his wishes and tie up loose ends after he passes. I've never done anything like this before, and the only support I can ask for at this time is help with monthly finances. I won't lie, this is going to be a huge emotional undertaking and I cannot even begin to fathom what I am about to go through, so I thank you for any support you are able to donate. This fucking sucks and I wouldn't wish it on anybody. I'm so grateful for the support system I have, and if you could share this with yours that would mean the world to me.
