Cover Anubis's Medical Costs

2/3/24 730pm: UPDATE! WE GOT SCREWED! My husband noticed a duplicate charge on his credit card after the charges had been transferred to my care credit. We thought it must've been some sort of mistake so I called RiNo Vet and they told me it wasnt a mistake and that all our charges added up to 9k. This is ridiculous and devastating to us. Not only that but the refund they had given us back was charged back.

Please help, I feel terrible for even needing to ask for this. Anubis is a 2 yr old Doberman that recently ate something she wasn't supposed to. Unfortunately it got caught in her stomach and they had to perform surgery on her. The vets said she is in critical condition but making a slow recovery but they estimate she will have to be monitored for a couple days. The vet said the estimate could go up to 8k. Normally my husband and I could tackle this and pay it off. However, this is a very dire situation for us mainly because we close on a new home in less than a week and we got our hands tied financially. We don't want to give up on either our fur baby or our new home. We cant envision our home without our furbabies. If we back out of offer we risk losing even more money. UPDATE:

Anubis has been discharged as of 1/11 at 2pm she is eating on her own and is expected to make a smooth recovery. We are very grateful for those that showed us support, you all are angels to us.
