Running 66KM in memory of Derek

I won't be telling you anything new when I say that 2020 was a particularly difficult year. It brought us moments that made us think and react. In 2021, we will have to act!

This year, I will take action to honour the memory of an exceptional man of incredible dedication: Derek Aucoin.

A man larger than life, Derek made a huge difference to everyone who crossed his path. Known for his incredible generosity, Derek’s whole life revolved around sports, but his dedication to the community left a much stronger impact?

It is for this reason that on 6/6/2021, I am committed to run 66 km to pay tribute to this gentle giant and to highlight his commitment to the community, but above all to raise funds for neuro-oncology research through the Institut du cancer de Montréal.

My run will start at Contrecoeur and will finish at the Esplanade of the Olympic Stadium.
