Costa Rica Exchange Program

Greene Street Friends School’s Fall Fair is one of the largest fundraisers in support of the Costa Rica Exchange Program, a unique two year program that integrates curriculum, Spanish language, science, service learning and social studies. Seventh grade students travel to Costa Rica for eleven days to experience Spanish immersion, gain knowledge of history and learn about the culture first-hand. The program culminates in eighth grade when students host their Costa Rican pen pals for two weeks.

Each year the seventh grade class raises funds to ensure that all students can participate, regardless of financial ability. Your involvement in the Fall Fair will allow students and chaperones to fly to Costa Rica in March for an adventure – and learning experience – of a lifetime.
