CORE Gymnastics’ new forever home

Hello, CORE families!
We wanted to take a moment to thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for how amazing of a community you are to CORE Gymnastics. We wouldn't have the amazing environment we have without amazing famililes like yours.
As many of you may know- since CORE opened its doors in October, 2018, we have been at capacity in all of our classes! This is surely a testament to how great our instructors are and how much we value skill growth with our lesson plans. But the unfortunate side of that- we have had to resort to putting kids on waitlists and turning down new families for years. Less than a year after we opened, we had to rent out a satellite gym so that our competitive teams could have space to practice in because our current building is too small. Operating out of two locations has been less than ideal, not only logistically, but also for the whole CORE community not getting to experience every level of gymnastics and additional program the gym has to offer. We want all of our preschoolers and recreational kids to be able to see everything they can accomplish with some persistence, dedication, and a good work ethic!
With that said- we’d like to announce some exciting news: we are in the process of building our very own facility! It will be just under 12,000 square feet with 28 foot ceilings and on plenty of land with room for future expansions! We will have a larger lobby for viewing, a larger parking lot for convenience, and most importantly, the space for more kids to experience all the benefits of gymnastics and tumbling classes. Our new home will be located on Fleming Rd, about 3 miles away from our current Horse Pen Creek location.
Best of all- CORE Gymnastics' new land and new building will be owned and operated by Karen Phillips and her family, and the current amazing CORE coaches and instructors will continue to be led by its veteran directors, and will be joined by new staff members.
This undertaking, of course, comes at a large price tag. We are looking at approximately a $2.5M project, from ground prep and clearing to completion, and we would love your help to offset some of the costs of the long journey ahead. We are hoping to raise at least $100K to put towards the equity required at the closing of the loan. Any gifts, large or small, will make a huge difference.
We are so grateful for our supportive CORE community and can’t wait to grow with you as we embark on this journey. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
Here’s to great progress this year- and we hope to be in our new home by early 2025!
GO CORE!
