Canyon Wells, Kyren Butler, and Marlon Yarbrough are wrestlers on the Copley High School team. They are only in their sophomore year and have accomplished so much together and individually.
These three young men have been wrestling together collectively around 8 years. It started with them wrestling on the Copley Youth Wrestling Team then the Copley Middle School Team and now they compete together on the Copley HS Team. They have also played football for Copley High School together on the freshman team. These three wrestlers have developed a great friendship and an unbreakable bond.
Canyon, Kyren, and Marlon have qualified for the 2019 Ohio National Freestyle and Greco wrestling Team. This tournament will be held in Fargo, North Dakota on July 12th-19th. The cost for this tournament for an individual is $1,400. The boys want to raise $5,400 by July 3rd. This total includes food, travel, room & board, gear, and any incidentals along the way. The wrestlers need your help to get them there and realize their dreams. They appreciate anything that you are able to give.

Canyon Wells:
My name is Canyon Wells, this upcoming summer I will be representing the Ohio Team in Fargo, ND at the Freestyle and Greco-Roman National Tournament. Ever since I started wrestling at the age of 7, I've had a passion for it. This upcoming event is important to me because it is where I can show all the work that my coaches and I have put in for the past 8 years. It is a dream of mine to wrestle in college and this tournament is an event that many colleges recruit from when they are filling their roster. It is a very high honor to have qualified and I am grateful to have this opportunity. I have listed some of my accomplishments below.

Marlon Yarbrough:
Dreams are what define people and how they live their life. One of my many dreams is to go to win a National Championship in Fargo, ND. Doing so will allow me to pursue my other dream of competing in the Olympics. I have done my part by securing my spot on the Ohio National Team by placing 3rd at the Northeast Regional Freestyle Tournament and placing 1st at the Ohio Greco State Tournament.
My interest in wrestling started when I brought a flyer home to my dad back in 2008. I have loved wrestling ever since. I've worked nonstop for 11 years and my credentials show that I have a future in this sport. Please see some of my accomplishments below.

Kyren Butler:
Many of you know me by my nickname, Poppa. Don't ask me why my parents gave me that name. Wrestling at Fargo is important to me because it is a chance for me to show my skills on a higher level of competition. I missed my chance last year to wrestle in this tournament because of an injury. That is why 2019 means so much to me. This is an opportunity for me to meet other wrestlers from around the state that have the same goals as me. Going to college and becoming an Engineer is one of my main goals in life. A placement or even winning in this tournament can get me noticed by recruiters or possibly a scholarship that will help me reach that goal. Check out some of my career highlights below.
