As many of you know, Riley is a beautiful, bright young girl, who tragically lost her parents at the age of 10. Her father, Chris, passed away unexpectedly in the beginning of January 2021, and not even a year later, in December 2021, Riley unexpectedly lost her mother, Adina, 2 weeks before Christmas. Thankfully, she has a TON of loving family who is helping her navigate this new world without her parents. However, due to the nature of both of her parents passing so suddenly, there weren't a ton of financial plans in place to help Riley move forward. Our families have all been working hard to do everything we can, to help support her through these challenging times, but financially, we want to make sure Riley will have access to all of the things she wants/needs moving forward. Financials shouldn't have to be a concern during a time of grief, so we are asking for some assistance.
Riley has had issues with her eyes in the past, so corrective lenses will always be a part of her life. She also absolutely loves gymnastics, so we would like to be able to keep her involved in as much of her normal routine as we can, for as long as we can. Any small amount makes a difference, and will be used for even simple things like new clothes, shoes, school supplies, whatever she may need. If we raise enough money, we would love to be able to start a small college fund for her.
Anyone who is a parent knows the financial responsibility that comes along with a child, and Riley's aunt Lydia also has 2 children of her own who she is responsible for full time. Anything we can do to ease her day to day is the goal here. It takes a lot to ask for help, and we wouldn't be if we didn't think we needed it. However, so many people have asked how they can help lighten our load, and this would be a great way to show Riley the village she has to support her!! From the bottom of all of our hearts, we thank you for loving our girl and being there to support our families!
