On Saturday  September 29, 2018, Connor suffered a spinal cord injury while playing football for Saint Anselm College. He is currently being treated at Yale University Hospital, in New Haven Connecticut. His parents, Jean and Rob are staying in New Haven, 3 hours away from home, to be nearer to him as he recuperates!
