Connor's Cross Channel Challenge

Donation protected
Since the beginning of the year the Goff's Oak Lodge has undertaken a range of activities to raise much needed funding for Scoliosis UK. This is an organisation that provides essential support and care for those who develop such life changing conditions of the spine.

Connor is 12yrs old and from South Ockendon. In his spare time swims he for Romford Town Swimming Club. His Mum suffers severely with Scoliosis and throughout her life  has had a dozen major operations to correct the severe curvature in her spine. In support of the activities of Goff's Oak, Connor has put himself forward to help them raise money for a charity close to his heart. This Summer he will undertake to swim the Channel.

Rather than dodging the delights of faecel floaters, he will swim the equivalent distance in his local pool. This will mean

33.3Km
1,332 Lengths
25m Pool

All of this he will complete within 7 days.

This is an incredible challenge by a remarkable young man.

Help him along his way and support him by clicking on his link.

Thank You.
