Community support for Natalie Knickle
Donation protected
As of now, our community has heard of the devastating news that has hit our family. Our sweet Natalie has been diagnosed with a form of severe Encephalitis, with the cause of what has lead to that still being investigated by Halifax’s’ best specialists. This is going to be a long process for Natalie. We are hoping she can make a full recovery with her strength and fight- However, no matter what, this can be a multi-year recovery and take many forms of physical and mental therapy. We have several fundraisers in mind to help Natalie over the next few months of fight, but because this is a very long fight, we will spread the different fundraisers out. While Natalie sits in ICU, she continues to have life expenses that need to be paid, as well as travel expenses for her support that have added up quickly. As Natalie slowly moves into her fourth week battling this, her fiancé, Bradley, has been balancing all of the finances, as we do as life partners. But, as we hear about the long healing process this will be, after a recovery, that is becoming a near impossible image to juggle on one income. As a family, we are helping as much as possible, but are asking for help from the community. Natalie has worked at many places in our community since she was in high school, as well as an avid volunteer. Most people know her smiling face, her contagious laugh and the way she always shows up to help. We are asking for that help in return.
We are thrilled with the recent fundraiser that has gone to Cindy and Wade to help them be bed side for their daughter during this difficult time. As well as the 50/50 fundraiser that has gone directly to Natalie’s account to help with personal expenses during her fight. The community has shown their immense support and want to continue to show their support- so with that being said, we have created a Go Fund Me space where individuals can give a donation that goes directly to Natalie.
Our number one priority is Natalie’s health. And we are hoping doctors come to a conclusion to what has caused this, so we can get our girl back! Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, and in the mean time, we are continuing our fundraising efforts to support Natalie during her hopeful, yet difficult journey to the healthy, and vibrant girl she once was. Bradley has been marked as the beneficiary as Natalie has been unable to utilize her phone. It will go to their joint accounts.
We appreciate this community so much, for all the help, prayers and support you have given her family and friends during this difficult time. Because of the length of this healing journey, we will continue to offer different fundraisers through the coming months. Thank you
