Help Kim Whiteford and Katie Through This Fight

If you know the Northeast Minneapolis arts community, you know Catherine Palmer aka Katie and her partner Kim Whiteford. For years they have been a force of kindness, creativity, and generosity, showing up for artists, cheering others on, and building a community rooted in love and support. Kim and Katie are both brilliant artists! They have worked tirelessly to lift others and to create opportunities for women, for people with disabilities, and for many in our community who needed a chance. Together, they have made a difference in countless lives.

Now it is our turn to be there for them.

Kim is facing serious health challenges and is no longer able to walk. After a long and difficult hospital stay, she is finally home, but the medical expenses, adaptive devices, and recovery needs are overwhelming. Kim is making progress every day and is working with incredible determination to get better. Her strength and spirit inspire everyone around her, and each small step forward is a reminder of her courage and hope for the future.

We are asking friends, family, and the community they have poured so much into to rally around them. Every donation will go directly to Kim and Katie to help cover medical bills, recovery costs, and the expenses of adapting their home and life to this new reality.
