Columbus Sabers, in their second year as a youth club ultimate team, are looking forward to travelling to Blaine, Minnesota for the Youth Club Championships. This is pretty much the National Championships of Youth ultimate and we are pleased to have been granted a bid to the event.  We will be competing in the U-20 Mixed Division, meaning we will have men and women in the squad.

However, the travel cost can be prohibitive for players as we have to go to Minnesota from Columbus. This normally involves 13-15 hour drive in a van, which we have to rent and fuel. Additionally, lodging, food, jerseys, and the tournament fee per player are costs that add up, along with the van, to a total of around $500 per player. 

We hope to take 24 amazing youths to this event, which would put us at $12,000 in costs. We're just asking for some of that, as a way to lower the barrier of entry for players.
