Colorado CCL 2019 Scholarship Fund

You can send Colorado Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) volunteers to the June 2019 CCL National Conference and Lobby Day! 
 
Through this direct appeal, we’re hoping to raise $8000 to provide scholarships to eleven Colorado volunteers who have applied for financial assistance to attend.  This is our only scholarship fundraiser for this year's conference, and we're hoping to raise enough money to send all who have applied. We’ll give priority to applications from our younger Colorado CCL volunteers, Colorado CCL group leaders, volunteers from our more conservative Colorado districts, and those who haven't received Colorado CCL scholarships in the past.
 
10 years ago CCL held its first national conference in Washington, D.C. Since then, we’ve met annually – ordinary people from around the country – to learn, to connect, and to ask Congress to introduce bipartisan climate legislation. This year is the first year we’ll meet and ask Congress to support an active climate bill – the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. 
 
In June 2018 thirty-five Colorado CCL volunteers went to D.C. to meet with our Members of Congress.  This year we’re hoping to have even more.  You can help to make that possible by sponsoring these dedicated volunteers!
