Coach Greg Mills Medical Fund
Don protégé
The story of Greg Mills and what he means to our Spring Hill Christian Academy and Spring Hill Baptist Church Families can't effectively be told in a few short paragraphs. He is a devoted husband to his wife Brandie and loving father of two amazing little girls, Ariah and Leza.
Geg and Brandie began the SHBC Bus ministry with a heart for getting people to church that are not able to come on their own. Greg unselfishly gives of his time to work with our JV and Varsity Boys basketball team at SHCA.
Greg has not only the burden and concern for his own health but is overwhelmed by the thought of how his illness is affecting his basketball team as we wind down the season. He is a man of commitment and principle.
I am short on time as I think of what to type so will undoubtedly come back to rework the whole thing. The problem really is that Greg is also growing shorter on time. He is in liver failure and will be needing a transplant in the very near future.
This will be his second and hopefully final transplant.
The funds would be used for medication, out of pocket expenses that are astronomical, and at times travel expenses as he has been from Gainesville to Orlando and now possibly traveling to Tampa for care.
We would encourage those who know Greg and his family to prayerfully consider how they may best help.
Any donation is never to small and will be much appreciated. As Christians we know that prayer is indeed a mighty thing. So we would ask that you begin to pray for Greg and his family and for his medical care.
Thank you so much!
