On February 22, 2019, our Mom was called home to Heaven following a metastasized breast cancer diagnosis just 4 days prior. Along with every other devastating change this brought upon our family, we became increasingly aware of the weight of the medical debt that accumulated quickly. Just 2 weeks later, our Dad had to have a heart procedure - adding to the pile of medical bills. Our parents have been in the ministry for 31 years and have always provided well for their family, but, understandably, are lacking in the reservoir to draw from after such a devastating few months. In addition, our Dad recently found out that his insurance is not covering our Mom's medical expense because they consider it to be a "pre-existing condition." 

     We, the children of Ray and Char, felt led to reach out to our family and friends in effort to assist our Dad financially and ease his stress as we continue grieving as a family.
