Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro for Macmillan

To all of you good-hearted people,

We are a mother (Marina) and son (Branko) team aiming to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro to fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support. 2020 was the year Marina successfully rang the bell in the oncology department to announce the end of her year-long treatment against breast cancer. It was a challenging year for all, both physically and emotionally. All of this would not be possible without a good support network of family and friends who have gone above and beyond to help.

Cancer is finding strength when you think you have used up every last ounce. Trekking 5,895 metres up Africa's largest mountain will be a test of true grit and determination, reflecting the challenges that cancer patients are faced with.

Many people suffering from cancer don't have the right support network, finances or psychological support. We chose Macmillan as they are a fantastic charity that offer support, not only to nurses that look after cancer patients but also offer help to patients themselves and their families.

We would really appreciate a donation, no matter how small, to support a cause that I'm sure we are all affected by in some way.
