I don’t really know how to start this off but I do know it’s time for me to put myself out there and ask for help.

I started my transition in 2018 & since then I’ve tried to take on this journey on my own, I’m realizing now 4 years in that it truly does take a village & I’m ready to open up and take the help from those that have offered along the way. 

Since starting HRT my body has changed but unfortunately my natural breast development hasn’t been as successful as I would have hoped, my right breast has grown in ,deformed and I need to get a breast augmentation in order to fix it, which unfortunately is not covered by the Canadian medical system/ trans care BC as they only provide augmentation to those that don’t develop past an A. They don’t take into consideration deformities like I am experiencing. I have recently seen a plastic surgeon to confirm this, my only option its to pay out of pocket to fix my deformity. 

My self esteem and self identity have hit rock bottom due to my transition taking a rocky turn, my mental health has been making it hard to work and keep myself a float. 

It sucks that as a trans woman I have to fight with myself to feel confident in my own body.

On top of the funds needed for breast augmentation I’d be using any other funds raised to continue my physical transition with body feminization, facial feminization etc to feel confident in my skin as the beautiful black trans woman I am.
