Hiking : Clean Water for Liberia
Hi, I'm Deb and I am the creator of the PermaPaleo Approach to natural lifestyle design. This campaign is two-fold; it will allow me to inspire people of all ages to get outdoors and get in touch with their Paleo selves and also to share my expertise with rural Liberian villages in order to provide clean water. Your generous contributions will be used to support my 2018 thru hike of the Appalachian Trail and also to support the Rural Integrated Center for Community Empowerment in their efforts to provide clean affordable water through the use of biosand filters.
This means so much to me because it fulfills the Permaculture ethics of care for the earth, care for the people and share the abundance. I will be 61 when I hike the 2100 miles of the trail and I hope this will inspire others and it will remind us that clean water is not to be taken for granted in our lives.
If you would like to support heightened awareness of our national trails and at the same time contribute to clean water in rural Liberia-then please make any contribution of any size. I will be happy to answer any inquiries and tell you more about the challenges Liberia faces.
Peace is green,
Deb
