Clarissa Shepherd Medical Fund

Clarissa Shepherd has written extremely helpful books and blogs on the invisible illnesses of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome also known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). She is a daily source of support and encouragement on Facebook for a closed group called “Fellow Travelers with FMS and CFS”. In this venue, she provides extensive, easy to understand  resources and deep kindness for over 2800 of us (!) who deal with the often scary and disabling symptoms and limitations of these illnesses. Recently, she had to be rushed  to the hospital for treatment of bicuspid heart valve problems and atrial fibrillation (A-Fib). The unexpected medical expenses are a hardship. Can you help lighten the financial load of Clarissa’s new health condition?

She, like many of us, has been sidelined from work by Fibromyalgia and CFS so out of pocket expenses cut into basic life needs (not that optional latte but the-light-bill-kind-of-life-needs). She is a woman of enormous heart and dignity and wouldn’t ask on her own behalf.
