Medical & Living Expenses

Hello family and friends,

My brother, Mark Dunbar, recently suffered a massive heart attack. Sunday, November 14th, he spent the day with his son, Dawson Dunbar, and our dad, Glenn Dunbar. That night, they ate dinner and watched new episode of Yellowstone when his life suddenly turned for the worst. Towards the end of the episode, Dawson noticed some strange behavior in Mark. Dawson rushed over to his dad's side and began performing CPR. Cole Dunbar, Courtney Dunbar, and the rest of the Styx River Volunteer Fire Department quickly responded and took over until the EMTs arrived. Mark's condition worsened and life flight was called to transport him to Sacred Heart in Pensacola. When he arrived at Sacred Heart he was not breathing and remained unresponsive so he was placed on a ventilator and sedated. The team of cardiologist rushed him into surgery where a Stent was placed in his left ventricle.

We cannot thank the Styx River Volunteer Fire Department, Life flight, and team of cardiologist enough. Mark's condition is now stable but the fight is not over. He has a long road of recovery and is not able to work or provide for his family's needs. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated for a family who has dedicated so much time and resources to our community.

May God watch over my brother and his family and grant him a speedy recovery.
