My mother,my best friend,my hero is in trouble. Bad trouble. She is at risk of loosing her home. Her only home! The house I grew up in.The house that she has been paying for for 21 years. As a child I grew up watching my mom (single mother) work very hard.Everyday all day. Weekends,Nights,Mornings! She is not unemployed,hurt or sick she just simply got behind. She is a Hospice nurse and has been for 20 years, which requires you to work all day and sometimes all night. She never misses a beat. 5 years ago her 2nd job (on call after hours nurse) hours were cut in half. 2 years after that the program was cut all together. Although she has a excellent attendance record and outstanding work history due to Obama Care she has not had a raise in over 5 years.Hospice is non-profit and they completly depend on government and insurance reimbursment.When Obama care was approved it cut back medicaid and medicare reimbursment which results in lower budgets for employees.With no raise and totally loosing her on call 2nd job her yearly income was cut by nearly $30,000.00. So long story short my mom got behind on her bills.The bank is saying that she has to pay $5000.00 by Aug 14,2014. That is nearly impossible. She was embarrassed and sad and kept thinking she would figure it out until now we are in crunch time. I have several things for sell and we both are picking up extra work wherever we can.I am afraid that isn't going to be enough. We have 2 weeks to come up with $3000.00 more dollars . I have the other $2000.00 and attorney fees. I was thinking that if each of my friends would just donate $2-$10 you could help me save my moms home. You have no idea what this means to me. I am her only child and CAN NOT let her homestead be taken from her over a few missed payments. Please help.
