Roy Rodriguez

My little brother, Roy, who is 40 years old was diagnosed with Metastatic Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), a type of cancer that is virtually undetectable in most patients until they reach stage 4...which is where my brother is at.  He went into work on a Monday morning and two days later was having a tumor removed from his brain.  He has never smoked and rarely sees a doctor.  This was a tragic surprise to all who know him.  The doctors say he is out of immediate danger, but will need chemotherapy and radiation.  He has trouble remembering words and walking.  He is in rehab now at St. Joseph's hospital.  He will be there for an extended period of time.  He is a single father with a 16 year old daughter, Julianne, who is devastated.  Although he has health insurance, he has mounting bills.  Anything you can give will help relieve some stress and will be a great blessing to him and his family.
