Christy Damon Jefremow's Medical Fund
She has run 11 marathons with a physical and mental toughness that few of us have. And now she will need to summon that strength for the fight of her life. Christy’s life changed on June 16th when she was diagnosed with Uterine and an extremely rare Primary Peritoneal Cancer, caused by a genetic disorder. She has undergone major surgery and is now moving on to aggressive treatment. The road to recovery will be a long one, but with our help Christy will make it to the finish line and will be back in the saddle training for race #12!
If love were a currency her cup runneth over, unfortunately that is not the case, and her family is now under a tremendous financial strain in order to keep up with medical expenses. Not to mention Christy will not be able to work during her treatments. In an effort to lighten their worries, bring them some peace and allow Christy to focus on healing, we are creating this gofundme page.
All generously donated funds will be used for Christy’s present and future medical expenses, and any funds not used will be donated to cancer research.
