Team Logan Expense Fund hospitalized since 4.6.23

Dear Friends and community members,

We are reaching out to you with a heavy heart to urge you to help support Christy Taylor and Logan Mitchell.

Christy is always the first person to help those in need in our community and right now she is needing our support and prayers for her son, Logan and herself.

Logan is currently at the University Hospital in Columbia where his condition, though serious, is stable. He will be undergoing extensive medical procedures and will be in the hospital for several weeks recovering.

Christy, if approved will be staying at the Ronald McDonald House where she can be closer to her son while he is in the hospital. With the impending medical bills, time off work, travel expenses, and extensive occupational and physical therapy that will be required to get through this we are reaching out for help. If you find in your heart to help in supporting financially, they would be grateful.

There will be a long road to recovery and are asking for continued prayers. Thank you all for your love and kindness. It is amazing to see the community at work when it means the most!

“Just wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers today! Surgery was running late getting started this afternoon but he got in and out quickly and is now resting in his room. Today was just an exploratory surgery to see what the plan is for the next surgeries and then they cleaned it all out while they were in there. The decision was made that they would add an extra surgery in to the original plans, so he is looking at 3 more surgeries between April 28th and May 5th. (There will be more surgeries scheduled over the next several months as needed, but these are the 3 that will need done as soon as they can) Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers! ”
