I am Christian Webb, proud older brother of two younger sisters, and a junior (2014-15) at Mountain View High School. I have been playing the alto saxaphone for the last 5 years. Music is so important to me and all that I do. I gain much joy by playing and sharing the love of music with others. I enjoy learning new pieces that are challenging and help me to better my skills as a saxophone player. My band teacher and principal in 7th grade put a saxaphone in my hand and taught me how to play and it changed my life. I also play the drums, but my marching and concert band instrument of choice is the saxaphone. I have been very fortunate to have amazing band teachers, directors, and mentors in my life to get me to where I am today, and they are held with high regard in our community and schools. I had the pleasure, and once in a lifetime opportunity, of marching in the 2013 Macy's Day Parade. I now have been given the honor, and invitation, to march in London's New Years Parade January 1, 2016. It will be my senior year and I hope that I can gain the funds to go as I have put in the hard work for the last 3 years in marching band and 5 years in concert band. With my families financial struggles, due to my mother whom is ill, it has discouraged me from being able to go, but I know that if I work hard I can make my London dream come true. Please consider donating and helping me accompany my high school marching band in marching in London New Years Day 2016. Thank you in advance for your support, prayers, and consideration. God bless you.
