Hello,
Many of you may know Chris Serino from the Sanford Police Department, where he displayed dedication and passion for what he loved to do. This week my family and I lost a very important person, Chris showed bravery, strength, courage, and had a great sense of humor. Chris was always willing to help people in the community and was very easy to get along with. I met a gentleman on Friday that said, he was one of the best investigator they've ever had. He was well liked and respected in the community and department.
Chris was only 49 years old when he left us. Having said that it was a very unexpected death. Chris was introduced to my family and I about 14 years ago. Chris was my stepfather. He was always there for my sister and I and always had our back. My family loved him for 14 years now and he will always have a place in our hearts.
I created this GoFundMe page to hopefully raise money towards Chris' memorial service. It's heartbreaking seeing my mother so broken, and if I can raise money towards the service I know it will relieve some financial stress off of her. She lost her best friend; the person she was supposed to grow old together with. I can’t imagine the pain she feels inside.
I am beyond thankful for the support and love that the community was shown through this devastating time.
The memorial service will be on January 28th at 2 p.m at the Gramkow Funeral Home & Crematory.
