Chris Hodgins's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
We’d like to start by saying, the overwhelming support for Chris, Cathy, his family and the people closest to him has been heartwarming and up-lifting.
On Saturday of the Labour Day weekend, Chris was in a sea-doo accident from which he suffered serious injuries to his spine.
Chris has undergone several surgeries, and is currently rehabilitating at Lyndhurst Centre, Canada’s largest hospital for spinal cord injuries. We are staying positive, and hoping for the best results on his long road back to health.
Since the accident, friends, family, teammates and anyone who has had the good fortune to know Chris has reached out, wondering how they can help.
This is how:
We’re looking to build a sturdy foundation of financial support from this already enormous outpouring of love and encouragement for Chris and his amazingly strong and loving wife Cathy.
The funds from this page will be going towards the following expenses, to name a few:
- Physical therapy
- Painkillers
- Home/vehicle modifications
- Transportation
To help spread the word to those eager to help out, feel free to share this link with friends who may still be wondering what they can do.
Hodgey is a warrior on the ice, at the ballpark, at work and in everything else he pursues. Let’s come together to help him fight the hardest battle of his life.
