Chris’ Fight Starts Now - Let’s Crush it Together!

Crush It, Chris: Help Support Chris’ fight against Glioblastoma.

On May 6th 2025 our lives were forever changed when Chris went to the ER for what we thought was a pinched nerve. In the coming days we discovered our beloved dad, husband, grandpa, and friend Chris was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Since then, life has moved fast—multiple scans, a biopsy, and after seeking opinions from top centers like Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota, Chris underwent an advanced LITT brain surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible where they were able to ablate 80–90% successfully.

While he’s now recovering at home, Chris is facing significant left-side weakness and requires around-the-clock support. His care plan includes six weeks of daily radiation and chemotherapy, beginning June 11th, with hopes of enrolling in some clinical trials with the goal of shrinking/killing the tumor cells and avoiding recurrence as long as possible.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help offset medical costs and support for home and business responsibilities (Chris and his wife Patti own The Tilted Tiki restaurant in Stillwater, MN) so we can fully focus on Chris’s care and recovery.
