Chopping my locks for a good cause
Who this will help
This will help the girls in Zichron Menachem who are suffering with cancer. My hair will be made into a wig to bring someone happiness and joy - to make them smile and make them feel more like themselves when they look in the mirror
Why I'm fundraising
Earlier this year, my cousin Raphael got diagnosed with leukaemia. As soon as I heard I immediately wanted to try and help him through this - even though I can’t physically help him, I thought that cutting my hair in his name would show him my support and be my way of contributing in what he is going through.
This is not the first time I am cutting my hair for charity. When I was in year 4, I volunteered to cut my hair for Zichron Menachem, and it was a really big change for me - but I did it, knowing that my hair would be worn by someone who needed it more than me and that it would put a smile on their face.
I am the one on the left at the end - I was 8 years old:

The impact of your support
Zichron Menachem encourage hair donation, to help children feel beautiful even during challenging times - this is only one of the things this incredible organisation does to support the children and their families
By helping me reach my goal, you contribute to their mission of bringing joy and support to children and their families during their cancer journey.
