Chichi Omeje Victory Fund

Chichi is a burn victim. When she was 14 years old, she suffered a seizure and fell into an open fire in her native country Nigeria. Unconscious, she lay in the fire for several minutes burning until her father found her. By then, her entire face and head were burned to the point where facial features were indistinguishable. She had also stopped breathing and was presumed dead. She came back to life on the way to the hospital and has since been battling to survive. Completely blind, Chichi has undergone 69 surgeries with many more to go. She and her mother do not qualify for any benefit and have been trying to survive on $300 a month.
