Children whose Mom or Dad have passed away

Hi my name is Shiaka McIntosh. My foundation is to give free birthday parties to children who lost a mommy or daddy from violence, natural causes or an overdose

Im great at event planning. and I would like to host FREE birthday parties for children from ages 6-16. I am starting on my own but I’m asking for the community's help by making a donation towards materials, venues and other party goods.

My back story is that my son's dad was murdered

when my son was 4. I didn’t want to start the foundation until he was able to fully understand what giving back meant the same way the community gave back to us.

No matter how hard things were, I made sure his birthday was the best day and it always, momentarily, put a smile on our faces. I am also accepting non- monetary donations from cloth napkins, tablecloths, chairs etc.

Thank you all. My first party for a child who lost her mom will be in 2 weeks. I’ll be sharing stories and photos with all who have found it in their heart to help. Thank you.
