Children of Hector Mendoza Need Help

En enero de este año, mientras mi padre y hermanas menores visitaban a nuestra familia en México, Hector Mendoza, mi papá, empezaba a sentirse muy mal. Durante el vuelo de regreso a nuestro hogar en Canby empezó un dolor tan grande del estómago que lo llevamos al hospital directamente del aeropuerto al aterrizar. Pasaba más de tres meses hospitalizado, sometiéndose a tres cirugías pero terminó sin esperanza: descubrieron que mi papá, quien tenía solamente 39 años, tenía cáncer terminal del estómago. La mañana del sábado, 23 de abril, falleció dejando a mis hermanas y a mi devastadas.

La muerte repentina e inesperada de mi padre nos ha dejado a mis hermanas y a mi mamá con muchos asuntos difíciles de manejar y gastos pendientes. Aparte de los gastos regulares y diarios, ahora además tenemos gastos médicos y funerarios. Después de los servicios aquí, mi familia quiere que sea enterrado en Guerrero, México, como él deseaba.

In January of this year, while visiting our family in Mexico with my three youngest sisters, Hector Mendoza, my dad, began to feel very ill. During the flight back to our home in Canby, his stomach began to hurt so badly that he was taken directly to the hospital from the airport upon landing. He was hospitalized for more than three months, submitting to three surgeries that ended without hope: they found that my father, who was only 39 years old, had terminal stomach cancer. Saturday morning, April 23, he passed away, leaving us, his four daughters devastated and without the support of our father.

The sudden and unexpected death of our father has left us, his daughters, and my mother with a number of difficult matters and outstanding expenses to deal with. Apart from the regular, daily expenses, now we have medical and funeral expenses as well. After services here, we (his family) would like him to be buried in Guerrero, Mexico, as he had wished.

I am raising funds to help my family get through this difficult time.
