Help Our Dad Fight Multiple Myeloma
Hi, my name is Amber. My sister, Chasity and I are starting this to benefit our dad.
Our dad is the hardest-working man we know. He’s always been the one to show up, no matter what—whether for his family, his job, or anyone in need. Even after being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in July 2022, he continued to push through, undergoing weekly and biweekly chemo treatments, a rigorous oral chemo regimen, and an autologous stem cell transplant in April 2023. For a time, we had hope—he was in remission. But this week, our world was turned upside down.
Dad’s cancer has returned aggressively and has already spread to multiple areas of his body, including the lymph nodes in his chest, as well as his hip, spine, ribs, and jaw where it’s causing severe bone destruction. And yet—through all of this—he is still working full-time, refusing to let this disease define him.
Now, we are at a crossroads. He will need to take a leave of absence from work to focus on his fight. His battle starts this Wednesday with immediate chemo and continues next week at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, where specialists will determine his next course of treatment.
Unfortunately, while cancer puts life on hold, bills don’t stop. The financial burden of cancer treatment is overwhelming, and we are reaching out to ask for support—whether that be through a donation, a share, or a prayer. Every single contribution helps ease the stress on our family and allows our dad to focus on what matters most: fighting this battle and getting well again.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support.
