Chemotherapy for Big Kitty

If you know me even a little bit, you know that I am very attached to my cats, Big Kitty and Little Kitty. About a month ago, we noticed that Big Kitty's meow was becoming hoarse and we noticed a large bump around his lymph nodes, and we took him to the vet. After a cytology, they diagnosed him with large cell lymphoma, an aggressive cancer that, without treatment, means that those affected may only live for some weeks after diagnosis. We gave him some immediate treatment that relieved the effects of the cancer, but without chemotherapy, he will not survive very long.
I am starting this GoFundMe to help pay for his chemotherapy, which could prolong his life and comfort for more than 6 months. Rare cases of therapy can prolong their lives and comfort to over 2 years. I want to give him this chance for prolonged comfort and life because besides the cancer, all his vitals are remarkably healthy for 12 years old. He is attentive and still loves to cuddle with his brother, and it makes me sad to think how Little Kitty will be without him.
The chemotherapy he needs is a weekly treatment, and each visit is $200-700 for 10 weeks, and then every other week for 25 weeks total. Working as a public middle school teacher, this is a hardship for me both emotionally and financially. I've had Big Kitty since he was a kitten, and for half of my life. Any and all donations mean the world to me. If he one day stops responding well to the chemotherapy and begins to suffer, I will donate the remaining contributions to the animal shelter so that they can better save the lives of other animals. While I am unable to pay back the contributions, I am very happy to use my photography skills for you as a donation incentive.
