Chatham Kent's Custom Ball Drop CKRNYE

Chatham-Kent's Rockin' New Years Eve is building a custom ball to be dropped on New Year's Eve! This is right, a custom ball-drop for Chatham-Kent! The inaugural year's plan is to drop the ball at the capitol theatre during the event and countdown. 

The ball will be a locally sourced, 9 foot diameter ball and will be made using steel to form a geodesic dome much like the New York Ball, and will feature lights and visual effects. The estimated cost for this project is $300.00 CAD.

Labour to assemble the ball is provided by volunteers, and therefore this will not be a factor in the price. 

Any donations are appreciated, and all donors (no matter the amount) will be thanked in our video presentation before the ball drop, thanked online and added to our program! 

Our event will also be raising money for New Beginnings ABI/ Stroke Recovery center, and we are hoping to make this event large so we can support the center following the event.
