Sweet little Charlotte Ann Mack is having surgery February 22, 2018. Her mom and dad are first time parents and never expected that at just 6 months of age their little one would have to go through surgery. Charlotte has what is called metopic craniosynostosis. The frontal suture in her head is closed and if it is not surgically opened her brain will not be able to grow as well and could cause further problems later in life. Charlotte is having surgery up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has the best team of doctors taking care of her. Unfortunately, the expenses to drive up there and back as often as they have, the lodging, the food, the surgery itself is not going to be easy on Matt and Emily. Charlotte is planned to be in the ICU for at least 2 days and then will have to stay in the hospital for a week. The Macks have an amazing support system but could use any kind of extra help they can get with medical costs for their sweet girl. They both have to take  unexpected time off work and will have lots of medical bills to pay.
