Hi there, my name is Josey and my husband and I are in Merida, Mexico. We found Charlie in rough shape sleeping in our parking spot. He was all alone and so sweet. Given how people friendly he is, I suspect he was abandoned to the street as opposed to being born on the street. After feeding him and giving him some peaceful rest in our closed in patio, he got stronger and healthier, we wanted to fix him so that in case we can’t find a forever home for him (we are trying), at least we could feed him offer him shelter regularly. We had him checked, got shots and flea/tick/worm meds but we needed to get him fixed before we let a healthy intact male out to roam. Unfortunately, Charlie has developed an infection from the surgery and we need to get him more vet care. If you can spare the smallest donation to help cover his vet bill, we’d so appreciate it.
