Charity week at SHS- Havens Hospices

We work closely with health and social care professionals to ensure their care and support is the best it can possibly be, so they can get the most from life, and make every day count - Havens Hospices

Hiya, we’re currently students at Shoeburyness High School Sixth form and this week we are holding a charity week event in support of Havens Hospice.

The reason for supporting Havens is due to Lola’s mum who recently passed from Stage 4 terminal cancer in September of 2022. In the last 5 days of her life she was taken care in the hands of Havens for end of life treatment, they were absolutely amazing and supportive to not only her mum but the entire family and have continued to support us since the day she passed.

We would really appreciate any donations towards this week as the charity only runs of off donations and fundraising. All their services are free of charge! We have linked below their website to learn more about their services and how they make a difference.
