Those who know Elyse Chambers can agree that she brings happiness and excitement to otherwise gloomy days. She exudes vibrance, a glimmer of light in the dark, illuminating those around her.
Elyse’s father, passed away from medical complications in September. Three weeks later, Elyse’s mother unexpectedly passed away during a hospital visit. With the recent loss of both her mother and father, Elyse is left to handle funeral arrangements and costs as well as logistical decisions while mourning the loss of her parents.
Even when faced with mounting adversity, she hasn’t lost her fire and determination. She’s a fighter. Through tears, she continues to smile and push forward.
She’s resilient and generous by nature, She would prefer to suffer in silence than burden others with her plight. For this reason, we are asking friends, family, coworkers and classmates: Please make a donation, however large or small, to help cover the funeral costs for Elyse’s father, Ben Chambers, and her mother, Leila Chambers. Additional donations will go toward the care-taking of her brother. We know she has the determination, strength and courage to handle this situation on her own, but she shouldn’t have to.
