Eagle-Vail, CO - Oct 20, 2018 – Crosstraining Fitness of Vail and Vail Brewing Company are doing more than just improving fitness and brewing up incredible beer. They’re teaming up to not only increase awareness of Breast Cancer, especially in young women, but to also raise funds for long-time local Carolyn Stratton. Carolyn is the owner of Doggie Style Pet Grooming in Edwards, CO, and was diagnosed with Breast Cancer recently. Although there was a history in her family, she is young, and now finding herself managing not only her busy small business in Edwards, but the surgeries and treatments that come with this diagnosis.
On Saturday, October 20, 2018, supporters from all over the Western Slope and the Vail Valley will be gathering at Eagle-Vail‘s Crosstraining Gym and Brewery to complete in a team-style workout and to enjoy locally crafted brews while raising money to help one of our locals, Carolyn, and her family succeed in her fight against breast cancer.
The passion and commitment of this community is incredible and we know we can make a difference in the Breast Cancer cause and especially in the life of one of our community members.
