Celebrating Chris Elliot
Chris to me and many of the people who go the chance to get close to him, was a
kind soul. He was a great friend and an
even better human. Chris passed
Monday April 5th of a infection in his
blood. The infection prevented Chris
from getting the heart transplant that he so desperately needed. We are asking for help to give Chris a proper funeral and
the opportunity to celebrate a life that
was taken from us to soon.
I also wanted to include this story that
Chris’s uncle wrote about him.
From day one, life threw you a major
curve ball. Born without the left side of
your heart. You fought and battled your way through multiple heart surgeries,
including one just hours after you were born, all before you were 5 years old. Then came the Kawasakis disease that you
suffered through and beat. All the while you also had to endure the mental
anguish of a man that you sprang from
that completely turned his back on you and your family to persue his addiction
and stealing your Christmas gifts on the way out the door. You took it all and still kept going! You are truly the toughest
person I have ever known and an
inspiration. We are blessed to have had
you in all our lives for the past 18+ years. It all became too much to overcome
today and my heart is broken. Your
strength has given me strength. You are
sorely missed and will never be forgotten my nephew. Rest in peace Chris Elliott
