Hey everyone! My name is Ashley and my family and I started this GoFundMe for my cousin, Caydon. We would like to raise money for him to go towards paying off his medical bills and saving for a new car to get to and from work.
For those who don't know, yesterday morning (January 11th) around 4am Caydon hit black ice and got into an accident on his way to work. He ended up losing control and striking a pole which totaled his car. An ambulance took him to Maine Coast Hospital at first, but he was later transported to Eastern Maine Medical Center because he may have needed emergency surgery for his spleen injuries and internal bleeding. The doctors ruled that the laceration to his spleen was a grade 2 and they would keep him overnight to be safe and rule out surgery. Luckily, Caydon was discharged this morning and did not need the surgery. He is currently staying with his sister, Skylar, in Bangor so he can be close to the hospital as a precaution requested by the doctors.
For anyone who knows Caydon, you most likely know he is a hard-worker and one of the most kindest people you will ever meet. We hope this fund raiser can lighten the load for him amid the stress of this accident, being out of work for a while, and needing to pay bills while saving for a new car. Anything helps and we appreciate your generosity ❤️
