Jake has been a contributing writer for The Newport Daily News and currently for Newport This Week. Jake also writes a blog about his experiences dealing with his special needs son, Jackson, who has a rare genetic disorder called Angelman's Syndrome.
Please help us support Jake's fight against pancreatic cancer by donating to Jake and his family. All of the proceeds are going directly to the Cathers family to support Jake's fight. We would invite you all to join us on Friday, July 25th, when our community comes together to celebrate and support Jake Cathers Night at the Newport Gulls
