Castlefinn Covid Meals on Wheels

The Covid-19 crisis has left many vulnerable and elderly people isolated within our communities.
Many cannot currently leave their homes due to the strict guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.
Taking inspiration from the other groups which have sprung up around the north west over the last two weeks, McGlynns Restaurant Castlefinn, together with volunteers from Robert Emmets CLG, St Vincent de Paul, Castlefin Social Services and Castlefin Celtic F.C. have come together to begin a 'meals on wheels' service to deliver hot meals to those who are currently struggling to get essential supplies in the Castlefinn/Doneyloop area.
In order to carry out this valuable service we require funding for food supplies/packaging etc.
We are extremely grateful for any and all contributions.
A huge well done to the groups which have done fantastic work to get up and running, such as ChefAid Killygordon, Chef Aid Letterkenny, ChefAid Donegal Town, Redpepper Castlederg, Strabane Together Against Covid-19 and more.
