En esta oportunidad te invitamos a apoyes para la sostenibilidad de Casa Resguardo en el 2025.

Este lugar es un espacio creado para salvaguardar la vida de mujeres ex privadas de libertad por emergencias obstétricas, que cumplieron condenas injustas en El Salvador.

Además, Casa Resguardo es el espacio donde tenemos dormitorios para las mujeres y que tengan seguridad, alimentación y resguardo.

Tambien, es el lugar donde se realizan las actividades administrativas, talleres y reuniones, y crean las obras de teatro que ayuden a educar a la comunidad sobre la discriminación de género, la violencia de género, y los procesos reproductivos. El objectivo es siempre promover su mission:

"Para que nuestra historia no se repita en las generaciones futuras."

We invite you to contribute to the sustainability of Casa Resguardo (Safe Home) in 2025.

Casa Resguardo is a home created to safeguard the lives of Salvadoran women who were formerly incarcerated for the so-called "crime" of suffering a naturally-occurring obstetrical emergency without access to medical care.

After suffering more than a decade of wrongful incarceration, recently-released women turn to Casa Resguardo for a bedroom, food, community, and safety in which to rebuild their lives.

Casa Resguardo also provides office space and a meeting room for Mujeres Libres. Here they receive classes, trainings, and create theatrical presentations that help educate the community about gender discrimination, gender-based violence, and reproductive processes. The goal is to always forward their mission:

"Ensuring that our stories are not repeated in the next generation."
