CarpeDiane : an eco-responsible project in Madagascar

Dear change makers,
In a world filled with uncertainties, have you ever wondered how you can make a positive impact?
My name is Diane IRINA, a Franco-Malagasy residing in Marseille, and I have an exciting project taking shape in the land of my ancestors, near Tamatave, Madagascar. I grew up in this beautiful and vibrant country. In honor of its natural and cultural treasures, I wish to give back to the local community by creating around fifty jobs.
My project is to build a wellness-focused hotel complex called CarpeDiane. I share my vision in the video above. It will offer visitors a unique experience of self-reconnection, relaxation, and revitalization, while preserving and showcasing the local environment.
This project goes beyond a mere hotel venture. It is a commitment to the community and human development. In this regard, it aims to provide employment opportunities for locals, thereby contributing to the local economy and promoting sustainable growth in the region. Additionally, we plan to establish professional development programs for women, helping them acquire skills and thrive in their careers. We also aim to support the children in the nearest center (rural commune of Amboditandroho) by providing them with educational and growth opportunities.
As you can see, CarpeDiane is rooted in a human-centric approach. We will establish fair partnerships with local merchants, artisans, fishermen, and farmers, fostering a circular economy and launching social and environmental projects that benefit the local population. Hotel guests will even have the opportunity to participate in these initiatives for educational purposes and to share experiences. It also adheres to an ecological and environmentally respectful approach. We will employ sustainable construction techniques, nature-friendly materials, and ensure minimal energy and water footprint.
In order to convince investors to commit to this project, which will restore hope for a dignified and better life for the local community, we need to conduct a thorough environmental study to assess the project's impact on local ecosystems and implement appropriate protection measures.
Dear donors, your support is crucial for the realization of this project. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to our goal. I sincerely thank you for your generosity and contribution to the realization of this ambitious project. Together, we make a difference.
Thank you very much for your support.
