Carnate Ohana

My sister-in-law, Mele-Punahele, and my brother, Ashley, has one of the greatest hearts in the world. They have adopted two beautiful children who they love with all their lives. Punahele has had 5 major heart surgeries throughout her entire life and has gone through 2 pacemakers. She has been told that she needs to go through another major heart surgery replacing her pacemaker, the leads of the pacemaker and reconstruct the left pulmonary artery because it’s too narrow.  Her surgeon operates in San Diego which is very far away from home in Hawaii.  It is a very high risk procedure due to the amount of surgeries done in the past.  To go through this process my brother will need to take time off from work to help Punahele recover and also take care of their 9 year old son and 5 year old daughter.  They will be in need of financial assistance during this time. Punahele’s recovery will takes months which will make it difficult for her taking care of their very dependent kids. Ash and Pu are people who will not ask for help but yet offer help to others in need in a heartbeat. They are the most giving people that I know.  So, as Ashley’s oldest sister, I’m asking for any donation you may be able to help in their cause. We truly appreciate you.
